Lauren Dawes

As a Curriculum Lead teaching the City & Guilds Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing. I am a fully qualified and experienced dental nurse with over 13 years’ experience working in mixed NHS and Private dental clinics. Not only do I teach trainee dental nurses the knowledge and skills they need to become competent in their role, but I am also trained in oral health education and have previously run my own oral health education sessions where I educated patients on how to care for their mouths and prevent dental disease.

I have also completed the certificate in Dental Radiography as well as this I am qualified to apply topical fluoride on prescription from a dentist.

This experience has allowed me to develop and enhance these exceptional Courses in Oral Health Education for Cavity Dental Training.

We found Cavity to be amazing help. They listen to your needs and go above and beyond to get you the trainee that you need.

I did my course years ago. It was classroom based one night per week. I think I would prefer to be more ‘hands on’ like it is now. Cavity really are a great company to work for. I truly believe that there expertise will ensure the next generation are amazing!

I did mine over an apprenticeship but the company my employer used wasn’t great and I didn’t get much support. Although I passed I can only imagine the length that Cavity have gone to to ensure that the students feel supported. As an employee, its super!
