I got interested in dental nursing and chose this career because it is a very direct career that involves challenges and opportunities to help people and I found that exciting. Also, from when I was 10 years old, I’ve always been interested in dentistry and I didn’t know what kind of path I wanted to take but I feel like dental nursing really stood out to me because I enjoy seeing how dental nurses are very hardworking and quick with their jobs. An apprenticeship is the route for me by I do not think that looking at a board and taking notes is very convenient for me and I want to experience the actual role will make me understand it more. In a nutshell, from what I know the role consists of cleaning tools and passing them to the dentists when they are needed and helping chairside to the dentist also and making sure the patient is comfortable and happy before their appointments begin and it’s also keeping the surgery clean and keeping records of each patient.

I possess a strong foundation in Art, showcasing creativity and attention to detail, My experience in retail has polished my communication skills, allowing me to connect with patients effectively. I am inherently empathetic, respectful and a fast learner, making me adaptable, driven by a genuine passion for dentistry. Seeking this career is the culmination of my long-standing interest in dentistry, finally paving the way for me to pursue this fulfilling career path.

I have always been drawn to the healthcare field with a keen interest in oral health. Hi my name is Laibah I am 17 years old and recently out of education. I am looking for a dental nursing apprenticeship in order to get the foundation to further study dental therapy in university to hopefully become a dental therapist later on in life.I have all my GCSEs grades 5 to 9 and as well as this I take up a part time job at a local dessert shop as well as work as a volunteer at the British heart foundation 1-2 days a week.I would really like the role as a dental nurse apprenticeship in order to secure my future as it is something I am very passionate about and will work hard for your practice.

My name is Myia Lamontagne Nyamekye, and I possess a positive attitude along with a strong work ethic. At 17 years old, soon to turn 18 in September, I am enthusiastic about learning and embracing new challenges. I am keen on pursuing a career as a dental nurse due to my interest in healthcare and desire to assist others in my role. Furthermore, I aim to advance within the dental industry and transition into the role of a Dental Hygienist from my current position as a dental nurse.

I am currently under going orthodontic treatment and this has really sparked an interest in dentistry especially after meeting some of the most incredible dental nurses. I also really want to make a positive impact on other peoples lives. I am currently studying in Truro college doing my A levels and am very committed towards becoming valuable member of the team.
