The Highfield Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance qualifications provide a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices that underpin internal quality assurance. These qualifications sit on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RFQ), regulated by Ofqual, CCEA Regulation, and Qualifications Wales.

The objective of these qualifications is to support roles in the workplace by equipping learners with the necessary skills to internally assure the quality of assessments within an organisation or assessment centre. The course is suitable for:
- Individuals new to internal quality assurance: A foundational understanding of the principles and practices of internal quality assurance.
- Experienced assessors: An opportunity to formalise knowledge and practices with an accredited qualification.
- Team leaders of internal quality assurance staff: Designed for those who lead a team responsible for maintaining and improving assessment quality.
Entry Requirements
In order to complete these qualifications, learners are required to:
- Be a minimum of 19 years of age.
- It is recommended that learners hold one of the following qualifications prior to enrolling:
- Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment
- Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement
- A1 or D32/D33 Assessors Awards
Guidance on Delivery
The course is delivered over 5 weeks, with a 2-hour live webinar each week. Each learner will have access to a dedicated learning and skills coach.

Upon successful completion of these qualifications, learners may wish to continue their development by undertaking one of the following qualifications:

Guidance on Assessment
These qualifications are assessed by a portfolio of evidence, which must cover all assessment criteria contained within the units selected. The portfolio will be assessed and internally quality assured by Highfield Qualifications. Learners must provide valid, authentic, and sufficient evidence for all the assessment criteria, which may include observation of performance, examining products of work, and questioning.
