Highfield Level 4 Leading Quality Assurance Qualifications (LIQA)

The objective of these qualifications is to support roles that involve maintaining the quality of assessments from outside an organisation or assessment centre. This qualification is suitable for:

• Individuals new to external quality assurance: Gain foundational knowledge of the principles and practices of external quality assurance.
• Experienced internal quality assurers: Progress to a role that involves externally assuring the quality of assessments.
• Team leaders: For those leading teams responsible for the external quality assurance of assessment centres.

To enrol in this qualification, learners must:

• Be a minimum of 19 years of age.
• Hold one of the following qualifications prior to enrolling:
  • Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice
  • Level 4 Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice
  • Level 4 Award in Conducting Internal Quality Assurance of the Assessment Process (V1)
  • Internally Verify the Assessment Process (D34)

The course is delivered over 5 weeks, with a 2-hour live webinar each week. Each learner will have access to a dedicated learning and skills coach.

Upon successful completion of these qualifications, learners may continue their development by undertaking further qualifications within the learning and development sector, such as:

• Highfield Level 4 Certificate in Leading the External Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (RQF)

These qualifications are assessed by a portfolio of evidence, which must cover all assessment criteria contained within the units selected. The portfolio will be assessed and internally quality assured by Highfield Qualifications. Learners must provide valid, authentic, and sufficient evidence for all the assessment criteria, which may include observation of performance, examining products of work, and questioning.
